Video Transcript

You’ve got to stay alive on the mountain. And one of the things that you always have to be asking as you’re planning is, what are your extra oxygen canisters; what are your cash reserves; what are your lifelines; what are the things you have in place that will give you the options? Productive paranoia doesn’t mean sitting there being scared. It means worrying about all the possible things that could go wrong and then building in the preparations that allow you to have options to deal with them. This is productive paranoia as opposed to paranoia.
